International Collaboration is Panel Focus
Space is increasingly an international arena and nowhere is international collaboration more important than in the realm of global security.
The International Collaboration for the Future panel will feature military representatives from around the globe who will explore U.S. and Allied common interests in the space domain.
Among the topics the panel will discuss are: information sharing on common threats; freedom of action in space; and space operations norms and standards. The panel will be moderated by Air Commodore Mark Roberts, Royal Air Force, United Kingdom.
Panelists include:
- Brig. Gen. Yves Arnaud, commander, French Joint Space Command, French Ministry of Defence General Staff
- Maj. Gen. Stuart Beare, chief of force development, National Defence, Canada
- OE Hiroshi, director general for International Affairs, Bureau of Defense Policy, Ministry of Defense, Japan
- Air Commodore David Steele, air attache, Embassy of Australia, Australian Department of Defence
- Air Commodore Jan van Hoof, assistant director capabilities, NATO's Joint Air Power Competence Centre at Kalkar in Germany
