General Arnaud serves as senior adviser to the French Chief of Defense. Previously, he was director of the office of Air Defense Accident Inquiries; Rafale project manager, Capabilities and Equipment division of the French Joint Staff; deputy chief at the Central Air Operations Command, French Joint Staff; Air Forces deputy commander in operation Trident in Naples; executive officer and deputy forces commander, Dijon Air Force Base; and tactical commander of air elements in N’Djamena, Operation Epervier. Arnaud attended the Tours Fighter Pilot School, the Test Pilot School at Istres Air Force Base, and the French Joint Defense College.
